For anyone who says that you can’t play Fur Elise, here is the arrangement for you. This was written for level 1 students who have played for 4 to 5 months or so, which would make it about a Level 1C. Before you play, you should be familiar with the grand staff, the layout of the piano, and eighth notes. Once you know that, anybody can play this song!
I often wonder why this melody has remained popular for hundreds of years. Is it perhaps the bebop scale that he buried in there? Is it the sadness and emotion he is able to bring out in the music? Why do we all love this song?
I can’t answer these questions, but I certainly can make it doable for anyone. So please enjoy. Click here if you’d like to see the easier version.
I am actually thinking of creating a class called “Zero to Fur Elise in 8 Weeks” – would anyone be interested in that? Leave a comment below. Let me know what you think. And then share – pin it, post it, like it, etc. Thanks for stopping by!
